INSTALLATION

fingersafe® is very easy to fit and is completely reliable when installed correctly. However, it is imperative that you follow these instructions in detail. We can accept no liability or responsibility for incorrect installation. fingersafe® can be installed on 95% of today's doors. fingersafe® is not designed for doors with rising or declining butt hinges.

What You May Need:

  • Safety Glasses

  • Utility knife

  • Pencil

  • Sharp pair of scissors and/or metal snips

  • Tape measure

  • Power Drill with Phillips bit

  • Self-tapping tek screws are provided which will penetrate metal or wood. If for any reason you need to pre-drill holes for the screws, you may use a 3/32 bit.
